Data Collection/Quality Control Specialist I

The California Health Collaborative's Cancer Registry of Central California is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Data Collection/Quality Control Specialist I for our Fresno office.  To qualify, you must have at least one year of experience in medical coding or medical records in a health care setting, have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, and possess the following attributes:  detail-oriented, organized, a self-starter, able to concentrate for long periods, able to multitask, able to travel with some over night stays, and be team-oriented with good oral and written communication skills.  Technical training will be provided for advancement to the CTR level.  This position is open until filled.
